Precise Filler Removal. Guided by Ultrasound.
The ultrasound shows exactly where the filler migrated. We dissolve only that — precisely, safely. No guesswork.
Book ConsultationQuick Overview
See the Filler. Remove It Precisely.
Most filler removal is guesswork — flooding the area with dissolver and hoping it reaches the problem. With ultrasound, we see exactly where the filler is, whether it's migrated, and what's causing the issue. We inject precisely there. Less product, less risk, more control.
What That Means for You
- Precision, not guesswork — ultrasound reveals exactly where filler migrated before we treat
- Less product, less risk — targeted injection instead of flooding the area and hoping
- Works on difficult cases — old filler, scar tissue, Tyndall effect, failed previous removal
- Office-based, 30-60 minutes — local anesthesia, same-day recovery
Ultrasound-guided filler removal — we see exactly where the filler is before treating.

How It Works
The ultrasound probe shows your face in real-time — not just the surface, but the layers underneath. We can see where filler is sitting, whether it's migrated, and what's causing the problem. This is information the original practitioner didn't have.
See What's There
The ultrasound reveals where the filler is — and isn't. We can see migration, thickening, and whether scar tissue has formed. This tells us exactly what we're dealing with.
Identify the Problem
Not all filler problems are the same. The ultrasound tells us whether we need to dissolve, drain, or treat inflammation — so we address the actual problem, not a guess.
Treat Precisely
We inject hyaluronidase exactly where the ultrasound shows the filler — watching on screen as it goes to the right place. No flooding. No hoping it reaches the target.
Walk Out
The procedure is done under local anesthesia. You're awake throughout. Most patients return to normal activities the same day.
Why Guesswork Often Fails
When filler is removed without ultrasound, the practitioner is working blind. They inject hyaluronidase and hope it reaches the filler. To compensate for not knowing exactly where to inject, they often use large amounts — "flooding" the area.
With ultrasound guidance, we see exactly what we're treating. Less guesswork. Less product. More precision.
Problems with blind removal:
- May not reach migrated filler — it's not where they expect
- Uses more product than necessary — higher risk, higher cost
- Can dissolve natural tissue, not just the filler
- Can't distinguish between filler, scar tissue, or inflammation

Body Filler
Complications from filler in hands, earlobes, or other areas
Common Questions
Can you remove filler that was done years ago?
Yes. Old filler can sometimes be harder to dissolve, especially if scar tissue has formed around it. The ultrasound shows us what's there — whether it's still filler, scar tissue, or both — so we can treat accordingly.
Will I need multiple sessions?
It depends on how much filler is present and how it's distributed. Some patients need one session; others benefit from 2-3 sessions spaced apart. We'll give you a realistic expectation after seeing your ultrasound.
Is it painful?
We use local anesthesia. You'll feel pressure but not pain during the procedure. Some patients experience mild discomfort or swelling for a day or two afterward.
What if my filler was done at a clinic that won't fix it?
This is common. Many aesthetic clinics don't have ultrasound, so they can't see what went wrong or treat it precisely. That's often why patients come to us — we have the imaging to see and the expertise to treat.
Can all filler be removed?
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Non-HA fillers (like Sculptra or Radiesse) require different approaches — we can discuss options during consultation.
What's the difference between you and a cosmetic clinic?
We're a medical practice with interventional radiology expertise and ultrasound imaging. Most cosmetic clinics inject filler but don't have the imaging to see where it goes or the training to manage complications. We focus specifically on the complications.
